My thoughts.
I first found "Searching for a world that doesn't exist" practically the moment it released, just so happening to start getting into minecraft ARGs after watching some roblox ones! Eventually, it ended up being my favorite minecraft ARG and my first! I really love this ARG because of its tension, unlike some of the others I've seen where they are getting directly attacked by a creature or are clearly being haunted, in SFAWTDE, everything is subtle, silent noises that hint at an entity, strange occurences that normally shouldn't happen and more!
I also of course have to appreciate the building skills in the series, Horace, the goat, has such amazing talent when it comes to his builds! I really love how sometimes areas can be so simple and calm, whereas others can be detailed and maximized, my favorite example being when avery was stuck and didn't know what to do when there was white bare houses, whereas when he went into another gate there was a beautifully detailed cave that you can literally see like 15 different blocks for a pathway! To be honest though, I'd say that Horace is a really big inspiration for me, since, I really enjoy building whenever I play minecraft!
Mainly, I think I really love this ARG because of its story, characters, and atmosphere. I really love the idea of a world unlike our own, having the ability to drive people to insanity and to constantly delete itself! I also loved how cool the characters were, having their own personalities and their own challenges!
Derek/d3rlord3
Derek is highkey also the goat, being insanely intelligent throughout the series, solving seemingly impossible equations and situations and being able to figure out difficult things that normally, nobody would be able to solve! I love Derek as a character because of his determination, never giving up no matter the circumstances, even if it means life or death(which at some point, it did). I think that Derek can be relateable in some aspects because of his will to protect the people he loves or holds dear. For example, when he was in the large building, the final gate, and was merging himself with the King in Yellow, he never let Avery stay with him, wanting him to be safe and instead pushed Avery off the cliff, leaving him and the king alone.
